Transporting Game From Canada

The USDA ban on the import of Canadian hunter-harvested wild ruminant (hoofed mammals that chew cud) meats has been lifted, but a permit will be needed to bring it into the USA. Permits and related info can be found at the USDA website or call (301) 734-3277.
